Science and Health comes from the author's own searching and finding. The daughter of staunch New England Calvinist parents, she protested against the idea that suffering and pain are God's will. She knew intuitively that God's will was only good, and she turned to the Bible for answers. The insights she gained from her Bible study replaced hopelessness with hope, and fear with love. As she discovered these spiritual laws of God, she explained them in this book Science and Health.
